This is the continuation of part 3 of my Himachal trip story, I would recommend, please read part 3 before proceeding with this one, you can read part 3 here.

It’s the second day of our journey, we woke up early in the morning and started driving towards our next location, which is Kaza in Himachal Pradesh. Roads were very good and view were stunning, I have never seen anything like this, I have travelled on mountain, but this was different, that x-max tree were all around and traditional mountain hotels and home were on the way, We were enjoying the beauty of Himachal and now we were looking for some hotel to have our breakfast.

This is how, it looks like on the way

After driving a few km we found one hotel, we parked the car aside and went to that hotel, they have all the arrangements, like bathroom and all, first we went to freshen up, brushed our teeth and then ordered paratha with butter and tea.

We having our breakfast

After having our lunch, we started driving. It was awesome view of mountain, now it’s afternoon and we were hungry, after driving for few more hours we entered to one small town and there we found one dhaba, we decided to have our lunch there, It was local small dhaba with some local people were eating food, we have ordered a thali (means all the meal like chapati, daal, rice and salad), there were one local person sitting with us, we were talking to them about some location/way and about the road conditions ahead. We had our lunch, clicked some photos with local people and started driving again.

local dhaba, where we had our lunch

Going ahead, it was a single lane road with big mountain cuts for the road, waterfalls and many more, we got out of the car and kind of got lost in that extreme natural view.

After spending some time there, we moved ahead and witnessed different landscapes, every time we saw something interesting we stopped our car and clicked some pictures and moved ahead.

Way to Kaza

Going ahead we entered Tukpa Valley, It was a beautiful valley with some Monastery, this valley was surrounded by beautiful forest, we stopped there for awhile and decided to visit on Monastery there, but for some reason we couldn’t went there, and I remember we got stuck there because of one truck.

Going ahead I found one more stunning view there, We stopped there and that was awesome, I don’t have words to explain how I was feeling at that time. Look at the pictures below.

Going ahead we decided to go Chitkul Village, It’s India’s last village, on the way we saw some bikers, some army officers and some hotels to stay, people usually stay there.

Chitku — India’s last village

We don’t have any plans to stay there as we have to cover the maximum distance. So, we decided to continue driving, After driving for a few hours in the mountains we decided to stop somewhere and have our lunch and we needed to find some place to sleep. After covering some more distance we found one cottage, it seems like a dhaba, But it was closed, still we decided to go and check, if anyone is there and if we can get something to eat. we knock the door and one person opens the door and asked us what happen, we asked if could get something to eat, he replied he only has some flour left and can only offer chapati, we had some ready to eat food with us, we asked him if he can prepare some sabji for us and we will offer him ingredient, he agreed. They were good people, they prepared the food and offered it to us, it was quite good in the test.

Dhaba, where we had our dinner

After having our dinner, we drove for some more time and now we were feeling asleep and decided to find some good place to park our car and take a rest. After searching a bit we found one place between 2 trucks, we parked our car there and slept in the car.

Our second day was over, it went well, we witnessed many new amazing experiences today.

Sometimes you should listen to your gut feelings, you should listen to your heart and you should trust people, this world is filled with many good people. Try this and you will realise how wonderful this world is.
